ART2CONNECT MAASTRICHT FOUNDATION

Organisation and objectives

Art2Connect was founded in 2001 with the objective to promote and make contemporary art accessible for a general public. For that aim Art2C organises public events and art educationprograms. The three foundations of Art2C are: art education, art organisation and art advice.

Ambition’s

Art2Connect has the ambition to make a connection between the professional visual artist (and his work) and a broader audience.

Art2C tries to achieve this by:

• to give visual artists opportunities to expose and sell their work;
• to expose and make the current art from Maastricht and surroundings accessible for art lovers and potential buyers;
• to initiate and stimulate the accessibility of art institutes and art initiatives for a general public.

Another objective of Art2C is to recognise new developments in the visual arts and make it visible and to stimulate and encourage young artists and new art initiatives.
